Holy Trinity Lutheran Sermons

As Pr. Stefanski notes, St. John 6:1–15 makes it clear that the chief sin over which we are to lament during our Lenten contemplation is that of unbelief. Yet, as we so lament, there is a call to rejoicing here in the middle of Lent, because we are not sons of the bondwoman who are cast out to try to make our own way in the world, but sons of promise, loved and adopted for all eternity.
